Ancient War Machines - Trebuchet - History is a fascinating subject matter for people of all ages. Especially when its the history of combat, weaponry and WAR!
What better way to learn about our bloody past than building replicas of awesome and ancient war machines? Learn how they work and how they were used to devastating effect. When constructed they’re just the right size to fit on your desktop so you can terrorise anyone that dares to resist your might.
With the Trebuchet Kit you build a scaled model of the infamous Warwolf. Edward Is used this awesome siege machine during the battle at Stirling Castle in the 13th Century.
This Counter Balance Trebuchet was the most technologically advanced war machine of its day and could throw a 100kg stone ball over 300 metres to smash castle walls. Just the sight of the giant engine so intimidated the Scots during the siege at Stirling that they tried to surrender! Not that Edward granted them any mercy…he had a huge new toy to play with!
Build this authentic scale model and unleash its power! Great construction fun for young (line up your soldiers and pulverise!) and old (line up your pending work and pulverise!)…
