Action Tramps Gate Lodge PlayCentre - Action Tramps offer an imaginative range of outdoor wooden play centres for the garden. Action Tramps produce one of the finest range of wooden outdoor play equipment you can find in the UK. The design criteria have included flexibility, safety and above all to provide SOCIAL ACTIVITY, CHALLENGE and FUN for all ages of children.

Selected top grade pine (from forests approved and managed under the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification scheme (PEFC) is used with as few man-made materials as possible. The seasoned timber is then machined, planed smooth with rounded edges and finished to within 1mm tolerances. All fixing holes and nut recesses are drilled, then the timber is pressure-treated using a non-toxic chrominm / cadmium / arsenic - free solution approved for children’s playground equipment.

The Gate Lodge was designed to be a combined activity centre for younger children as well as a Wendy House + Fort + Sleeping den when they are older.
The upper cabin is large enough for three teenagers to sleep in comfort (although wood fires are not recommended!). Beneath the cabin is a play area 1.8m x 1.8m fitted with a table and two bench seats. There is enough room around the table to create a play area, even spread out some sand for small kids. The upper cabin can be accessed by a ladder with 5 x 40mm hardwood rungs, or the climbing wall fitted with professional grips. And not to forget the 3m green wavy slide & swing arm complete with 2 swings!.

To complement the Gate Lodge is a range of accessories including a full-sized Assault Course, Commando Net and Clatterbridge. The walls of the cabin follow a unique design which allows natural movement of the timber without having to use nails or screw, resulting in no splitting of the wood.
The overall feel of this PlayCentre is of quality construction and components. They use pressure-treated planed rectangular timber to minimise splits and cracks.

Detailed assembly instructions and all necessary fittings are provided to make construction a straightforward DIY job, although this unit is more complicated than the other Action Tramps PlayCentres and requires more planning.

A large strong tower unit with four platforms spiralling around the central upright. Leading off the second platform is a wooden climbing ramp with rope, with the fourth platform leading to the green 3m wavy slide. For further enjoyment is a rope commando net and swing arm with two swings included. As with all our PlayCentres, we use pressure-treated planed rectangular timber to minimise splits and cracks. All bolts are galvanised and recessed for safety and appearance.

Detailed assembly instructions and all necessary fittings are provided to make construction a straightforward DIY job.

Introducing another innovative and exciting design from Action Tramps. The Carisbrooke introduces a new range of features not seen in the UK before as well as incorporating proven modules from the existing range. The unit combines activities that will extend all the family from toddler to teenager in a safe, creative and social environment.

Two wooden towers, each with an Art Deco feel curved wooden roof, are connected together with a unique wooden tunnel. A place to hide, to shelter, to sleep away a warm afternoon. Tunnels are gateways in every Adventure, stimulating the imagination and providing heaps of play value and fun.

Access to one tower is provided by our wide wooden staircase with specially designed steps spaced for little feet and legs. To the other tower attaches a sturdy ramp with rope, steep enough to be fun for older children and at the same time providing a challenge for 2 year olds. The strong 3m (10 feet) green wavy slide makes up the third exit element. For the little ones the wooden sandpit built into the base of one tower, complete with two seats, is a magnet for creative opportunities.

To conclude the terrific range of features comes the assault course complete with exciting climbing wall and tall scramble net, joined to one tower by a substantial swing arm fitted with two wooden swings. Six quality professional grips lead to the top of the wall with horizontal wooden beams to give extra grip for the less adventurous.

The Arundel Play Centre offers;

A tall wooden tower with 90 cm (3ft) square wooden platform accessible by wooden climbing rungs or an 8 rung by 4 strand commando net. The tall swing arm has two adjustable wooden swings for children of all ages (a baby seat can purchased additonally if required). From the front the platform extends a sturdy 3m (10ft) long green wavy slide. At the base of the tower is a sandpit with two seats.
